Year 1 - First Day - MTC

We received the following letter from Hillary on a card, Saturday, August 25. So FUN!

8/22 & 8/23

Hola!

Oh my gosh! This day has been SO crazy but the spirit is so strong.  I am so ready to learn. The easiest way to give you lots of info quickly is going to be in a list.  Here it goes:

20 Things About the 1st day in the MTC

1 - Companion - Sister Blauer from Sandy going to Scott's Mission

2 - Ryan Oscarson helped me with my bags

3 - No mail delivery todayL

4 - P-day is Thursday

5 - Speak your language started right away

6 - 7 Elders in my District, 3 are going to Scott's mission

7 - My teacher is Sister Cutler from Draper

8 - Got a note from Scott on my desk

9 - We only have us 2 in our room

10 - Sleep on the top bunk, hate making the bed

11 - The salads are good

12  -Saw Scott once at breakfast and then he stopped at my class

13 - They have Diet Caffein Free Coke here!:)

14 - The schedule is crazy

15 - Don't have blisters yet

16 - So thankful for shower sandals

17 - The name tag is magnetic and awesome

18 - Teach our 1st investigator tomorrow

19 - Loving every second

20 - Love you all and miss you.

ps. I am sure your letters are waiting for me I just haven't gotten mail yet because district leaders only get mail and we will get a district leader tonight.

Oh and I hugged Scott and no one did anything!
