Second 9 - Letter 54 - St Helena, CA

Look to the light and live! Life's a roller coaster!

Hola! Well, I think the second I sent this e-mail I jinxed this last week. For some reason especially on missions when you have good weeks the next week is not the best! I feel like this week  I have let the fact that this week was not as good as last week weigh down on me and I have had a bad attitude about it. Oh well, that is life. We have had a lot of struggles hit us head on this week but we are continually looking to the light and just trying to live. This week I do not have a whole lot to say for some reason! I guess I will highlight some of the good things that happened.

We had an awesome lesson with Gilberto and Eva and the Garcias recent converts in the branch came with us and it was incredible! They are all a perfect match and it was exactly what fellowshipping should be.

We had an amazing English class and one of our new students was meeting with the missionaries before she left Columbia and really wants to learn more. So it will be exciting to see what happens with her.

We went to the temple! It was amazing! My mind was blown! I felt the Spirit so strongly and enjoyed the opportunity that I had to pour my heart to the Lord while in His sacred house. I kept receiving the overwhelming prompting that I am where I need to be. I have always known that but it was good to have that confirmation.

We are just continuing to do all that we can to be the best we can and to share this message with every one! Online work is new and so it is taking time to get used but their are so many amazing ways to use it.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer but I am just a little overwhelmed today but I would not have had this last week any other way because I learned a lot. It also helped me appreciate the success we have had and helped me think of what we did differently the week before and what we can do better. Life is a roll coaster and missions are the big scary roller coasters. There are huge ups and downs and turns. I have fastened my seat belt and got my barf bag ready for the ride.

Buckle up and be safe on your roller coaster.

Thank you for everything!

Love you all!

Hermana Hillary
